Vendor Partnerships & Operations Intern
Help grow Elight Events’ provider network by finding, onboarding and supporting event professionals across Bengaluru. You’ll work directly with the founding team and help make it easier for customers to discover trusted local providers.
About the role
Elight Events connects people planning celebrations with local event service providers. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused intern to help build a dependable provider network in Bengaluru. You’ll speak with photographers, caterers, decorators and other event professionals, guide them through onboarding, and help ensure their profiles clearly show their services, portfolio and service areas. This is a hands-on role with the founding team, combining partner conversations, research and marketplace operations.
What you’ll do
- Research and identify relevant event professionals across Bengaluru.
- Start conversations with prospective providers and explain how Elight Events works.
- Guide providers through onboarding and help them complete accurate profiles, service details and portfolio information.
- Review listings for completeness and flag issues that could confuse customers.
- Track outreach, follow-ups and onboarding progress in a simple shared workflow.
- Collect provider feedback and share practical suggestions with the product and operations team.
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, communications, hospitality, marketing or a related field.
- Clear, friendly written and spoken communication in English; Kannada is a plus.
- Organised and reliable with follow-ups and record-keeping.
- Comfortable speaking with small-business owners and learning new web tools.
- Genuine interest in events, local businesses or marketplaces.
- Able to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Bengaluru.
