Refund Policy

Effective: April 7, 2026


Elight Events uses a tiered refund policy based on how far in advance you cancel relative to your event date. The Razorpay payment gateway fee (2% of booking value + ₹3) is non-refundable in all cases as it is charged by the payment processor.

Cooling-off Period

If you cancel within 60 minutes of booking AND the event is more than 24 hours away, you receive a full refund minus only the gateway fee.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Processing time depends on your bank.

If a vendor cancels your booking, you receive a full refund including the gateway fee, within 5–7 business days.

Disputes

If you believe a refund was incorrectly calculated or a vendor failed to deliver the agreed service, raise a dispute through your booking dashboard within 7 days of the event date. Our team will review and respond within 5 business days.
